Create Layer Files

This processing task creates layer files in the Voyager meta folder and populates the [lyrURL] field. You can also integrate this task into Voyager's Indexing Pipeline.

NOTE: This task is only available to Admin users.  

 

To run this task in Navigo:

  • Click the Cart icon and select New Task from the drop-down menu

  • Select Create Layer Files from the task menu

  1. Enter the path to the Voyager data/meta folder

  2. Click Run Task to begin processing

Supported File Formats

  • Shapefiles

  • Rasters

  • Feature Classes (GDB, SDC)

Usage Notes

It creates layer files in the data/meta folder if layer files are not already present. Users can then open various GIS formats in ArcMap (Open in ArcMap) directly from Voyager without having to download data locally.
