Manage Placefinder Settings
Voyager Search’s Placefinder functionality allows users to configure geocoding and location search behavior across the system. These settings can be managed directly through the Manage UI, as well as programmatically using the Python window for advanced customization.
To navigate to the Placefinder settings, go to Manage > Settings > Placefinder
Example for configuring the Placefinder settings:
Choose the default geocoding provider (e.g., Esri, Google, OpenStreetMap).
Set custom endpoint URLs or API keys if needed.
Adjust search behavior, such as the maximum number of results or result prioritization
Select Save when you have completed configuring the Placefinder settings
NOTE: Most changes take effect immediately, but some may require a service restart depending on the provider or underlying changes.
