Manage Gazetteer Settings

Voyager Search’s Gazetteer feature enhances location-based search by providing structured geographic boundaries such as continents, countries, and administrative regions. These layers can be toggled on or off through the Manage UI, allowing you to tailor geospatial filtering and discovery to your organization's needs.

 

To navigate to the Gazetteer settings, go to Manage > Settings > Gazetteer

Within the Gazetteer settings, you’ll find toggle options for the following layers:

  • World Continents

  • World Countries

  • States and Provinces

 

To configure them:

  1. Locate each dataset in the Gazetteer settings list.

  2. Use the toggle to enable or disable each layer:

    • Enabled: The layer will be used in spatial filters and location-based search results

    • Disabled: The layer will not be included in geospatial queries or the Navigo UI

  3. Click Save to apply changes
