Instructions
Step 1: Now that you have installed Voyager HQ on your machine as a service, you are ready to configure your instance. For Step 1, if you already have a license provided by our Voyager Team then paste the license key into the text box. Click Next.
NOTE: If you are able to proceed to Step 2 then the license key will be considered valid.

Step 2: In Step 2, you will be able to set up the Host Name for your instance though it is common to use the default option. Keep the HTTP option toggled on and notice that the HTTP Port is 8000 which is the same port number used to load into the HQ interface. Keep the HTTPS option toggled off for now. This can be configured later if needed. Once the desired settings have been configured then select NEXT.
Step 3: For Step 3, you will enter your Server URL which is the URL address used to open your Voyager Server instance: http://localhost:8888
If you have not changed the default login credentials for Voyager Server then you will enter “admin” for both your username and password. Click NEXT to go to the final step.
IMPORTANT: After logging in using the default credentials, it is critical that you change your password for security reasons in Voyager Server’s Manage UI. To change your password, go to Manage > Security > Authentication > Internal. Then select your account name and click Change Password where you can enter a more secure password for logging into your instance.
Step 4: Step 4 indicates that the setup process is complete and you can begin using Voyager HQ. Select DONE to enter your instance.
NOTE: If you would like to make any changes in the previous steps, you can go back by selecting the numbered steps under Setup HQ.
Step 5: You have now completed the Voyager HQ installation as a Windows Service. As an admin user, you can now begin configuring your instance and indexing content for data discovery.
